Impact of Oakland Fire: Is Silver Lake Ready?

In the aftermath of the Oakland warehouse fire, the SLNC Governmental Affairs Committee will consider whether Los Angeles–and specifically Silver Lake–has a housing safety strategy in place to avoid a similar tragedy in our communities. The Committee will also discuss the impact of filming in Silver Lake neighborhoods and a proposed Council District 13 candidates’ forum. The meeting will take place at 6:00 p.m. on December 19 at the Laguna Senior Apartments. READ FULL AGENDA
