Saving Silver Lake’s History

Michael Masterson, co-chair of the History Collective Committee, explains why Silver Lake’s history matters and how the committee works to preserve it.
For more then 100 years Silver Lake has been home to famous artists, writers, actors, filmmakers, architects and businesses innovators. It’s also been an epicenter of the gay rights movement for over 60 years. Thanks to the SLNC’s History Collective Committee, over 100 video interviews have been recorded, preserving Silver Lake’s unique history for future generations.
