Douglas Reed Will Represent SLNC Region 2

“As Silver Lake sees tremendous growth, it is imperative to seek as much community involvement as possible as the impact will affect everyone. The neighborhood we reside in is one of the most unique and wonderful places to live, eat and play. I hope I can be an asset to the community as a Region 2 representative.”
At its April 4 meeting, the SLNC Governing Board appointed Douglas Reeda 27-year resident of Silver Lake, to serve as Region 2 representative. Reed began his career at USC School of Architecture and is a construction project manager with a focus on hospitals, seismic upgrades and historic preservation. His previous community involvement includes volunteering for the Committee to Save the Silver Lake Reservoirs (currently Silver Lake Reservoirs Conservancy), where he organized the Modernist Home Tour of Silver Lake to benefit Silver Lake Master Plan improvements.
