Three Global Firms Will Compete to Guide Silver Lake Reservoir Complex Master Plan

The L.A. Bureau of Engineering (BOE) has named three consulting teams as finalists to guide future improvements and the repurposing of Silver Lake’s historic reservoirs site, according to a press release issued by the BOE. The firms – Agence Ter LAHargreaves Associates, and Perkins Eastman – all have portfolios of large-scale international projects and will make presentations at a community meeting from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on December 4. The meeting will take place at Friendship Auditorium, 3201 Riverside Drive, 90027 and the winning team will be announced before the December holidays. Community workshops with the selected consultant are expected to begin in the spring of 2019.

“Along with input from people who live and work in the Silver Lake community and the many people who enjoy the wildlife, passive activities and the lovely open spaces of our iconic reservoirs, the firm that will guide the future of our beloved reservoirs will have the greatest impact on this landmark project,” said SLNC Co-chair Anne-Marie Johnson. “The SLNC urges people to turn out to see these crucial presentations.”
