SLNC Green Committee and Library to Present Green Lecture Series

The first in a series of four talks presented by the Silver Lake Neighborhood Council Green Committee and the Silver Lake Public Library, will take place from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at the library. The green lecture series will feature experts on climate change, habitat restoration and biodiversity in Silver Lake and beyond. The initial talk will address The Crucial Issue of Water in Los Angeles and feature Samantha Bode, producer/director, The Longest Straw; Leigh Jerrardprincipal, Greywater Corps; and Mia Lehrer, landscape architect and president, Studio-MLA.
