New Ivanhoe Walking Path to Open January 26

The new Ivanhoe Walkway, which provides a publicly accessible walking path near the Ivanhoe Reservoir, will officially open at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 26, at a ribbon-cutting ceremony. CD4 Councilmember David Ryu, LADWP’s Chief Operating Officer Marty Adams, members of the Silver Lake Neighborhood Council and the community will attend. The walkway was implemented by LADWP and construction began in spring 2018. The path, which is located in the 2300 block of West Silver Lake Drive, will be open to the public from dawn to dusk. Immediately following the ceremony, all are invited to walk the perimeter of the 2.2-mile roadway that surrounds the reservoir. If it rains, the event will be rescheduled.
