Tenants’ Rights Workshop – July 8th, 6 pm @ Edendale Library

Unfortunately for many people in Los Angeles, having an affordable long term place to live is a daily fight. Knowing your rights as a tenant is incredibly helpful in navigating these high stakes situations.

This coming Monday, July 8th, our wonderful neighbors at Echo Park Neighborhood Council are holding a Tenants’ Rights Workshop in conjunction with the Los Angeles Housing and Community Investment Department. Here’s more information from them:

“We understand how vulnerable renters can feel with limited affordable housing options and ever escalating housing costs. Echo Park Neighborhood Council will sponsor a Tenants’ Rights Workshop, conducted by Los Angeles Housing and Community Investment Department, Monday July 8th at 6:00 pm. at the Edendale Library, 2011 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90026. Information about your rights and which City agencies to consult, is your best protection against landlord harassment and poor living conditions.”
