BE SURE AND VOTE IN THIS YEAR'S SLNC ELECTIONS ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 29th - POLLS OPEN FROM 9am to 5pm

The Silver Lake Neighborhood Council Governing Board is comprised of 21 elected representatives of the community. There are two (2) representatives in each of Silver Lake's seven regions (see map) and seven (7) representatives elected at large, by the entire community. Boardmembers serve staggered two-year terms.

This year, the community will elect one representative in each of the seven regions, as well as four at large representatives.

Anyone 14 years of age or older who lives, works, owns property, or owns or operates a business within the SLNC boundaries; or who is a member of a community group, school or religious institution in the Community; or who works for an adjacent school or religious institution that serves the Community is eligible to run for a seat on the Board, and/or to vote in the Election.

You do NOT need to be a registered voter to vote in any SLNC Election - in fact, you don't even need to be a US citizen. Plus, there is no need to register in advance. Stakeholders can sign up on the day of the election.
