Board Votes to Continue Parking Requirements at Cliff’s Edge

Cliff’s Edge is a popular dining destination in Silver Lake.

After a lengthy discussion at the July 12 Board meeting, a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for Cliff’s Edge alcohol license was recommended for a one-year approval with no relaxation in the applicant’s current requirements for 52 parking spaces. The Neighborhood Council heard from multiple residents who expressed concern about the growing impact restaurants centered around Sunset and Edgecliff have on resident parking. The management of Cliff’s Edge, which is located at 3626 West Sunset Boulevard, had requested that existing parking requirements be removed. The CUP request goes to the Department of City Planning, along with the SLNC’s recommendation.
