Volunteers are needed for The Silver Lake Homeless Count that will take place at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 25.   According to Darius Derakshan, co-chair of the SLNC Homeless Committee, the count is part of the The Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count, which is designed to gather important data on where people experiencing homelessness are living in Los Angeles.  The information helps the city and groups working to end homelessness in L.A. allocate resources, make informed decisions, and  build creative solutions.  Volunteers will meet at Councilmember O’Farrell’s Echo Park Office, 1722 Sunset Boulevard. If you are interested in volunteering register here.
