Neutra Museum Curator and Vocal Artist to Lead Arts and Culture Committee

Dulce Stein, curator in chief at The Neutra Museum Gallery in Silver Lake, and Renee K. Dawson, a well-known singer-songwriter, have been elected to serve as co-chairs of the SLNC’s Arts and Culture Committee. Stein has been the museum curator since 2015, working with renowned architect Dion Neutra to book shows and exhibits in the gallery, which was originally created by architectural great Richard Neutra.

Dawson is a socially conscious singer, songwriter, actress, writer and producer who has performed at Windows on The World @ One WTC and Birdland in NY, and jazz cafes in New Orleans, Paris, LA and Amsterdam.

Stein, who is serving as co-chair for the first time, said that, “I am honored to be included in the Arts and Culture committee. I hope to grow and inspire but most of all I hope to serve my art and culture community.” Dawson previously served as a committee co-chair.
