The Silver Lake Neighborhood Council Transportation & Safety Committee encourages Residents to DOCUMENT all requests for City Services and Neighborhood Safety incidents. If the City does not respond to these initial requests please forward service request number to allow our Committee to assist with follow up.

For Non-Emergent Incidents: (occurring or about to occur; e.g. suspicious activity, prowler, vandalism, property damage, illegal dumping):
Contact LAPD at 877 ASK LAPD (275-5273)
File a Police Report Online at LAPDONLINE.ORG (after an incident has occurred)
Street Safety Issues (e.g. pedestrian safety, speeding):
Central Division Community Traffic Safety Unit (213 833 3745)
Call during business hours (M-F,7-4) to make traffic safety officers for Northeast (North of Sunset) or Rampart Division (South of Sunset) aware of your neighborhood safety concerns and see what resources they can recommend or deploy.

Our SLOs should be made aware of public safety issues and see what resources they can recommend or deploy.
